Anton Chekhov’s ‘comedy of a man who successfully kills himself despite all the pleasures of life’ is a story of adaptation and survival, of man vs. nature, as he navigates through his age, success and relationships. Life is comical as well as poignant! Chekhov’s play has been translated from Russian by Tom Stoppard, a master wordsmith, playwright and screen writer in his own right.
