By Jonathan Rand

QP is very happy to be able to produce live theater once again. It is a bit unusual to be performing on our front porch, but it is part of our commitment to keep the arts alive and available to our patrons, actors, and designers while acknowledging the gravity of the Covid-19 pandemic facing our communities.  Because there is no cost to see the show, QP would appreciate and gratefully accept donations.

WHO’S WHO:

Kathy Bedard Kathy is excited to be a part of live theater once again! You may have seen her in Quannapowitt Player’s Suburban Holidays Eight; Tricks and Treats & The Book Chain. Other local endeavors include The Theater Company of Saugus On This Winter’s Eve, It’s A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play & Almost, Maine; Theater@First Festival@First 10; The Post Meridian Radio Players, The Myling. Some of her favorite roles include: Irena, The Good Doctor; Aunt Eller, Oklahoma, Gloria Thorpe, Damn Yankees & Gladys Herman, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. Thanks for checking this show out AND supporting the arts!

Richie DeJesus Richie is happy to participate in live theatre again, especially when it’s also his QP debut. He was last seen in Nevermore: The Imaginary Life and Mysterious Death of Edgar Allen Poe at The Theater Company of Saugus. When he is not on stage, Richie spends his days as a professional geek (aka Software Engineer) in Boston. He also works as an actor for Mystery Cafe Boston. Recent notable credits include Usnavi, In The Heights at Nashoba Players – EMACT Nominee for Best Lead Actor; Horton, Seussical at Spotlight Players; Lenny in Rumors & Chris in All My Sons at Theater To Go; Cosmo in Singin’ in the Rain at Cannon; George Bailey in It’s a Wonderful Life at Theater Company of Saugus; and Jesus in Godspell at Sherwood.

Nick Gould is honored to have this opportunity to be directing a live show during this time. He has been a part of QP’s Suburban Holidays Festival for the past two years, and is looking forward to continuing the tradition again this year. In his daily life, Nick is a teacher of drama at Breed Middle School in Lynn. He also directs and acts for The Bard Brigade, a company dedicated to performing the works of William Shakespeare. Nick would like to thank his cast for their amazing work, Heather for helping coordinate the show, QP for providing a theatrical home, and Laura for everything she does. Enjoy the show!

Rebecca Greene Rebecca has been participating in community theatre in the Boston area for close to six years now. Some of her favorite past roles include Myrrha, Metamorphoses; Bassanio, The Merchant of Venice; and Masha from The Seagull. While the hiatus this year has given Rebecca the opportunity to focus more on playwriting and virtual projects, she is overjoyed to be involved in live theatre once again, especially given the incredible talent of her fellow cast members and director.

Eric Roberts Eric is thrilled to be a part of this great production. His most recent performances include Autolycus in A Winters Tale at The Concord Players and Festival@First 10 at Theater@First. Some favorite roles include Magwitch, Great Expectations; The Great and Powerful Oz, Wizard of Oz; Smog, The Hobbit & Creon, The Burial at Thebes. He really hopes you enjoy the show.
